The visit Project
We work in partnership with the Government of the British Indian Ocean Territory in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on visits to Diego Garcia and the outer islands of the British Indian Ocean Territory(formerly Chagos Archipelago)
Scholarship
The '2010 International Year of Biodiversity' Coral Reef Scholarship Programme' supported by The Diego Garcian Society, Chagos Conservation Trust and Coral Cay Conservation.
Application opens now for two places on this scholarship. You can ask for an application form at our office if you or your parent is one of our members( a Diego Garcian or Chagossian or descendants of 18 years of age), and you are in good health.
The Road to Crawley Project
This is a project which is recording the history of all communities that have moved to Crawley since the beginning of this new town. Its funded by the Lottery Fund, Crawley Borough Council and West Sussex County Council. Since last year it has concentrated in the Diego Garcian and other Chagossian communities.
